Pensacola Beach Brawl
This year Alpha Omega took on Pensacola Beach Brawl by storm and we had a blast! Every year we have participants, cheerleaders, volunteers and spectators come by the event and this one is near and dear to our hearts. Pensacola Beach Brawl has been around for over a decade and our team has always enjoyed the festivities! To the action packed workouts, hanging out in the sunshine with our fitness friends, and volunteering for the event- you can count on us to be there.

Individual Competition
Our sole, very brave, individual competitor was Conner Latimer! He gave it all he had. Conner competed in the Elite division which is the most difficult division. It consists of a mini-triathlon and three other workouts in the blazing heat. Conner ripped his hands pretty thoroughly and nobody would have blamed him for giving up. But- in true Conner fashion he kept pushing through!
He had two workouts left to complete with destroyed hands and showed what perseverance was, AND he managed to show up the next day to cheer on our team athletes! Way to go, Conner!

Tommy Hess also competed in the individual and placed 8th out of 27 athletes in the Men’s Scaled division!

Team Competition
We had several teams compete in the competition as well! Coach Keaton competed with Mako Friends with his team “Burpees and Bad Attitudes” and crushed it!
Seth, JT, Maddie, and Alexis competed in the Scaled CO-ED division as “Team AOP” and ended up with a podium finish in 3rd place!

Also in the Scaled-COED division was “3 Shorties and a Giraffe” with Lauren, Jordan Huston, and Eric! They competed side by side with Team AOP and got to compete next to their gym friends! It gave them an awesome push. They finished in 8th place out of 44 teams!

Jason, Steven, Trent and Ryan also competed in the men’s division and put it all out on the floor (pictured in the first photo on this page). Sore Winners landed with a fantastic 4th place finish in the Masters 40+ Mens division (had some massive competition in this one!) Well done guys!
If you haven’t joined in on the Beach Brawl fun, this is your sign to do so! If you’re not into competing, come and join us in the spring to cheer on our athletes, volunteer and have fun!
